About Linguado
The flatfish is a flat fish that lives on the bottom, with both eyes on the same side of the body and a coloration that camouflages it in the sand. It is a predator that lies in wait: it waits motionless and attacks fish and shrimp that pass by. It is caught on beaches, estuaries and bays along the coast of Buenos Aires, and its white flesh is one of the most prized in the sea.
