About Corvina Rubia

The yellow corvina is one of the most fished species on the coast of Buenos Aires and in the outer Río de la Plata. It lives in schools near the bottom, in beaches, estuaries and bays, and, like other fish in its family, emits a deep sound that can be heard when it is brought up from the water. It is fished from the shore or from boats with natural bait, and is appreciated both for its fight and for its meat.
